Check out this reclaimed parquet floor we’ve recently completed in Bishop Auckland. We sanded and resealed the floor using Berger Seidle GreenStar in matt. What a beautiful finish!
We originally went to sand and refinish this floor in Scorton, North Yorkshire, but, after noticing a lot of movement in the subfloor and lifting it up to inspect, we discovered the subfloor was completely rotten. The kitchen was removed, floor taken out and a new subfloor was installed. We then relayed the oak floor and refinished. It’s taken a lot of work, but the homeowner is over the moon with the new solid & sturdy oak floor!
Although this looked like a mini Stonehenge when we were fitting these reclaimed pine floorboards in Aldbrough St John, it’s now fully secured to the subfloor, sanded and finished. What a beautiful floor this is. Reclaimed timber is just full of so much more character!
We recently supplied and fitted this beautiful new natural oak parquet floor from V4 Wood Flooring for a customer in Newton Aycliffe. We prepared the subfloor and used Tover flexible adhesive to create a solid sturdy floor. We’re delighted with the results!
Take a look at these pine floorboards we recently restored for a customer in Darlington. The FlooRestore team sanded, filled and stained the flooring with Morrells Light Fast Wood Stain. We used 3 coats of Loba Viva Matt lacquer for the finish.
